Taylorは、先週のRaymond van Barnebeld戦の敗北に応えるように、James Wadeを相手にアベレージ111.20で10回中7回ダブルを決めて7-1で勝利した。
4レグ目に、Wadeが180、140、140と打ち、41残りで待っている状態で、Taylorは12ダーツ目で122をあがり、これがとどめとなり、素晴らしい勝利を手にした。

Peter Wrightは4-2とリードされている状態から巻き返し、7-5でRaymond van Barneveldに辛勝し、2勝目をあげた。
「この結果とポイントをとれたことを本当に嬉しく思うよ」とWright。「特によかったとは思わなかったね。でもダーツを変えてそれが自分が思ってたほどうまくいかないんだ、だから来週からは元に戻すよ」
Robert Thorntonが胸部感染症による欠場のため、Wadeはこの日2試合こなすことになった。彼はPremier Leagueの新人Michael Smithに対して7-4で勝利し、2勝目をあげ、逆にSmithは3連敗となった。
「勝てて嬉しいよ、でもMichaelはまだ自信がないみたいだね」とWade。「プレッシャーを感じているときはいいプレーはできないんだ。Michaelは今夜よりよくなると思うよ」

1-1 - Wright levels by landing double 16 at the fourth time of asking, with van Barneveld missing three darts at doubles to break throw.
2-1 - van Barneveld takes out 100 to hold throw once more.
2-2 - Wright kicks off with his first maximum before landing double 16 to square the game again.
3-2 - Double 16 sees van Barneveld edge back in front.
4-2 - van Barneveld is handed a let-off for missed doubles across two visits as Wright misses four doubles, allowing the Dutchman back to break on double nine.
